Ingredients

500g Margarine

500ml Buttermilk

2 large eggs

¾ Cup EZE Sweet

1kg Self-raising Flour

3 Cups All Bran Flakes

2 Cups Digestive Bran

2 Cups Wheatgerm

100ml Raisins

200ml Sunflower Seeds

15ml Baking Powder

1 teaspoon Salt

 

Method:

  • Melt margarine & sweetener on high for 3 min
  • Stir and microwave a further 2 min
  • Beat milk & eggs into margarine mix
  • Mix dry ingredients into the margarine & eggs blend
  • Spray 3 x 2 litre empty ice cream tubs with Spray ‘n Cook
  • Divide mix equally between 3 ice cream tubs
  • Microwave on 70% power for 11 to 14 min
  • Turn out and cut
  • Dry at about 70°C for approximately 6 hours
